The IPLS People Back-up Plan, a stand-in for every key person
The IPLS People Back-up Plan (PBP) means that for every key person in a project, in an IPLS team or in general for every key person within the company a stand-in (back-up) needs to be appointed and trained on the responsibilities of the key person. If the key person leaves or is not available (due to e.g. a holiday or sickness, or …), the stand-in takes over.
This PBP ensures the continuity of the (project) operations and puts a strong focus on knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer.
In line with the transparency core value of IPLS, it is mandatory to share and discuss the People Back-up Plan (PBP) of a project with your customer.
